Hope everyone had a wonderful and safe Halloween! This year was a little different for Nick and I since we didn’t dress up in costumes because we have been so busy doing renovations. I still felt like being festive this year because it’s the first Halloween in our house. Its such a surreal feeling because I loved going to all the houses as a kid saying “trick or treat” and now I’m the one handing out the candy! I thought I was going to run out because I was so happy there was trick or treaters that I gave the first few groups of kids handfuls of candy. I think they appreciated it my first ever trick or treater came back a second time. Since I didn’t plan a costume this year I figured I’d wear a fall festive outfit for the day and to answer the door for the trick or treaters.
My cardigan which has pockets (a total plus) was so comfortable and the perfect color for fall. I paired it with a turtleneck which could totally be worn without the sweater or with a vest. This black suede boots knee high boots are one of my favorite tall boots for fall and winter. The headband is from H&M and is a scrunchie that can actually hold your hair. My jeans are a light wash and are from H&M also. My watch is Michael kors in gold and my lip color I will link which is a kylie lip kit.
The lantern I’m holding in the pictures is a DIY Halloween decoration I made this year and will link the instructions.
