Knitting for Animal Rescue for Australia Information

When I saw Australia animal rescue were calling for all knitters, sewers and crafters I had to help! My grandma taught me to knit at a young age and If I can put it to a good cause I’m happy to do so! So far I made extra small Joey pouches hoping to make a bunch more in different sizes and send them out by tomorrow or Friday..✂️Any fellow crafters, people who crochet, sewers, knitters the rescue animals are in need. An amazing group of people at the @AnimalRescueCraftGuild (sister group @therescuecollective) are working closely with rescue groups among the firezones of Australia. The group coordinates the making and supplying of craft items that the affected animals can use. Their facebook page has an updated list of items that are most needed with patterns and addresses you can send. In the US there is a sub Facebook group that has the locations depending on what state you’re from of where to ship items more local due to high postage rates to Australia.
